My Anti-Inflammatory Nutrition

Inflammation is at the very center of most diseases known to man. Whether it is Arthritis, Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Heart Disease, you name it…as doctors what we are treating is inflammation!

In short, humans are genetically adapted to eat an anti-inflammatory diet; we are supposed to eat three (M.A.I.N) food groups: (1) Fruits, (2) Vegetables and (3) Animals that eat fruits & vegetables. Unfortunately the majority of humans eat very little of these M.A.I.N foods and instead they receive virtually all of their calories from foods that our bodies were not designed to consume.

Currently only a very small percentage (10%) of calories in the Standard American Diet (S.A.D) come from fruits and vegetables and virtually no calories come from omega-3 animal products. Research shows that over 70% of calories from the S.A.D are from Grains, Dairy, and Sugar…all of which the human body is not designed to consume at all.

It is not only unrealistic to be healthy while consuming foods that are part of the Standard American Diet, it is completely expected that you will become overweight, ill, and express whatever diseases you carry in your genetic makeup. Inflammation can not be adequately managed with drugs…it must be attacked with diet and nutritional supplements.

Research now demonstrates that our dietary habits can promote a state of chronic inflammation that leads to the expression of not only aches and pains, but also most chronic diseases.
